We are currently seeking a Group Claims Assistant to join our team! The successful candidate will possess a knack for providing outstanding administrative support while utilizing their excellent organizational skills to efficiently support the Group Claims team.

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do:
- Open, sort, and manage incoming or returned mail
- Print, sort, and manage outgoing mail
- Categorize incoming claims or inquiries accurately and within established turnaround times
- Update basic information in claim systems
- Prepare reports or claim packages for various clients (internal and external) as required
- Maintain spreadsheets for tracking processed work, and other reporting purposes
- Photocopying and other administrative tasks
- Other duties as required

- Strong organizational skills, with strict attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn processes and technology quickly
- Flexible team player who is customer service oriented
- Bilingual Candidates Preferred (French and English).
