Sales Development Representative (English-speaking)

About this role

This Sales Development Representative will own fonio's English-speaking top-of-funnel, driving qualification and demo handoffs that feed our Account Executives and accelerate revenue growth. You'll join a small, ownership-driven team where experimentation and fast feedback matter, with a clear path to become an AE within months for top performers.

What you'll do

  • Own the entire English-speaking top-of-funnel from first contact to qualified demo handoff.
  • Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing every day.
  • Run multi-channel outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and new channels.
  • Build and iterate on outreach sequences by forming hypotheses, testing, measuring, and improving.
  • Shape and improve SDR processes in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Onboard new customers and ensure smooth handoffs to AEs.
  • Operate with end-to-end ownership and receive direct feedback to accelerate growth.

What fonio is looking for

  • Native or C2-level English proficiency.
  • 1+ years of sales experience, ideally in outbound or telesales; B2B SaaS experience preferred.
  • Naturally competitive and driven to maximize output, motivated by uncapped commission.
  • Willingness to temporarily relocate to Austria (approximately 1–2 months in Vienna) to soak up company culture.
