Account Manager

fonio is hiring an Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of existing B2B customers for its phone-based AI assistant, ensuring adoption, expansion, and long-term satisfaction through commercial and customer-success activities. You’ll work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to turn product value into measurable impact and predictable revenue.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts across the entire customer lifecycle.
• Increase the value customers get from fonio’s telephone AI assistant by expanding use cases and identifying new opportunities.
• Run regular review, discovery, and upsell conversations with existing customers.
• Analyze customer usage to show how AI can automate processes and deliver measurable impact.
• Own expansion revenue within your portfolio, including upgrades, add-ons, and renewals against monthly and quarterly targets.
• Ensure successful onboarding and ongoing product adoption to maximize retention.
• Collect and relay structured market and customer feedback to the product and GTM teams.
• Maintain a clean CRM, reliable forecasts, and a healthy pipeline.
• Conduct regular touchpoints and QBRs to proactively maximize customer success.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to enable smooth handovers and coordinated account plans.
• Help shape fonio’s account and expansion motion as the company scales.

What fonio is looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in B2B SaaS sales, account management, or customer success, with startup/scale-up experience a plus.
• Proven experience in upselling, renewals, or driving expansion revenue within existing accounts.
• Strong product and technical understanding with a clear affinity for AI/ML technologies.
• Structured working style, ownership mindset, and strong customer focus.
• Native-level German, confident in calls, reviews, and demos.
• On-site in Vienna with hybrid work possible.
• OTE €65,000–€95,000 (fixed salary plus uncapped commission), depending on experience.
