Founding Engineer, AI Product

You'll be a Founding Engineer on our AI Product team, owning the full stack of an agent-based AI product from conception to production. This is a zero-to-one role where you'll drive product engineering decisions, ship user-facing features, and build the backend systems that power the platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement user-facing features for an AI agent product, balancing usability with technical feasibility.
• Build and maintain backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure to support production AI workloads.
• Iterate rapidly on product ideas, gathering feedback and shipping improvements in tight cycles.
• Own systems end-to-end, from architecture decisions through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with the founding team to shape product direction and technical strategy.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping products.
• Strong full-stack product engineering skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered products, LLM applications, or agent workflows.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
• Proven ability to own systems from zero to one and iterate rapidly in early-stage environments.

Full-time, on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
