Lab Assistant
About this role
Pacific Fertility Center (www.pacificfertilitycenter.com) is seeking a full-time Lab Assistant to join our team in San Francisco, CA. PFC has been around since 1999 and we are one of the top fertility centers in the country. We have five physicians, all of whom are board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialists (REIs). We offer treatment ranging from In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to Egg Freezing. Job Duties will include:
- Prepare, label, and organize laboratory specimens, media, and equipment in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Assist embryologists and laboratory staff with routine laboratory procedures, ensuring a clean, sterile, and well-stocked work environment.
- Perform equipment cleaning, maintenance, and documentation while monitoring inventory levels and ordering laboratory supplies as needed.
- Accurately maintain laboratory records, logs, and patient-related documentation in compliance with regulatory, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
- Adhere to strict infection control, quality assurance, and safety protocols to support the delivery of high-quality patient care and laboratory operations.
Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical or Biological Science or Medical Laboratory Technology degree from an accredited institution is required
- Strong computer skills and experience with data entry is required
- 2 years prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
Pay: $33.81 - $33.00 per hour
