Parrot is a YC-backed (W25) education technology company in San Francisco building the "Tik-Tok for language learning" with real native short-form videos, interactive subtitles, and AI-generated activities that teach the way people learned their first language. The startup follows an immersion-first approach grounded in second-language acquisition research and comprehensible input, aiming to make native content and short-form video the global standard for online language learning. Parrot is also building a leading AI learning engine that adapts dynamically to each learner’s needs by blending human teaching insights with AI-powered personalization. Launched in February 2025, Parrot already has thousands of active users with strong engagement and rapid growth, plans to expand beyond Spanish to multiple languages, and is hiring its first Founding Engineer to help scale to millions of learners and creators.

Arbio, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, is building an AI-native property management platform for short-term rentals across Europe. It currently manages over 1,000 apartments and operates real properties in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, and Leipzig, with plans to expand to additional European cities. The company has raised a $36 million Series A funding and maintains an engineering team of five engineers. Arbio’s platform uses AI to observe, decide, and act on real-world property operations with humans in the loop, enabling AI-assisted management of short-term rental properties across Europe.
