The role

As an SDR, you’re the first conversation a prospect has with Xapien. You’ll research target accounts, reach out across phone, email and LinkedIn, spark genuine interest, and book qualified meetings for our sales team. You’ll work closely with sales and marketing, learn our market inside out, and have a direct, visible impact on our growth.

What you’ll do

• Prospect and reach out to potential customers across phone, email, LinkedIn and events — and be genuinely comfortable picking up the phone.
• Book qualified meetings for the sales team and hit (and beat) your monthly targets.
• Research target accounts and decision-makers to craft outreach that lands.
• Run great first conversations — understand a prospect’s challenges and clearly convey how Xapien helps.
• Keep your pipeline and activity accurate and up to date in the CRM.
• Work hand-in-hand with sales and marketing to test messaging, share what’s working, and refine our approach.
• Represent Xapien at industry events and be a confident, credible face for the brand.

Who we’re looking for

We care far more about attitude and drive than a specific CV. You might be an experienced SDR or BDR, or you might be moving into tech sales from another people-facing, target-driven role — recruitment consulting, for example. What matters is that you love getting in front of people and making things happen.

• A genuine go-getter — self-motivated, resilient, and energized by hitting targets.
• Confident and personable — you enjoy starting conversations with new people and can build rapport quickly.
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal, who can be clear and persuasive.
• Organized and consistent — you manage your time and activity to keep the meetings booked.
• Curious and coachable — keen to learn our market, take on feedback, and keep improving.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where you’ll help shape the playbook.
• Experience in sales, business development or recruitment is a plus, but not essential — the right attitude is.
