Shift Lead Employee
The Shift Lead at Wyld Child, also known as our Front Key Employee supports the GM in the operation of the front of the house: holding high standards, customer service, food and beverage quality, and safety. In order to be successful in these responsibilities, the shift lead must love the restaurant business, exude the core values, and lead with heart and humor.
Essential Functions
Constantly moves within the restaurant sales floor and kitchen
Frequently operates computers, phones, tablets and POS system
Occasionally positions self to clean under counters and inside equipment
Constantly communicates with staff and guests
Constantly monitors food and beverage quality for taste and visual presentation
Frequently moves products weighing up to 50lbs
Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
Essential Functions
Love the restaurant industry
Assist team members to achieve their goals
Support the GM in all aspects of front of house operations
Identify & Develop Future leaders
Maintain a fun and professional work environment
Maintain standards food quality, visual and taste standards
Manage financials and budgets of the restaurant:
Labor Cost
Beverage Costs
Be a presence on the floor of the restaurant
Expediting food and drink
Maintaining an upbeat floor energy
Quickly and professionally support the GM in team communications
Support Kitchen Leadership & Team
Maintain safety and sanitation standards including health inspection high scores
Literacy in Computers and Basic Math
Strong skills of observation
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Great oral and written communication
Exceptional follow-through skills
Must be willing to consent to a background check
