Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Global HR Operations Lead to serve as the operational backbone of our HR function across India, the US, and the UK. This role owns global payroll execution, benefits administration, India accounting coordination, and employee support. You will work closely with HR leadership and external partners to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of HR operations across all three regions.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on payroll experience — particularly India statutory compliance — along with a strong command of global benefits administration and a service mindset that puts employee experience first.
Key Responsibilities
India Payroll
- Collect,validate, andsubmitmonthly payroll inputs including new hires, exits, compensation changes, one-time payments, and deductions
- Review payroll calculations, deduction reports, and monthly summaries for accuracy prior to approval
- Coordinate payroll funding with the external accounting firm and bank
- Validate TDS and EPF challans and map against the salary sheet
- Respond to employee payroll queries and perform post-payroll reconciliation
UK & US Payroll
- Manage monthly UK payroll inputs, review, and approval coordination for a small UK employee population
- Process semi-monthly US payroll changes including new hires, terminations, adjustments, commissions, and severance
- Review earnings and deductions and perform post-payroll reconciliation for all regions
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries across all three regions
Benefits Administration — India
- Manage India employee benefits programs including group medical, accident, and life insurance, NPS, and meal/flex benefit programs
- Handle additions, deletions, CD balance monitoring, and monthly reconciliation with benefits providers and brokers
- Coordinate new hire enrollments, exit processes, premium tracking, and payroll deduction schedules
Benefits Administration — UK & US
- Manage UK employee benefit enrollments, changes, and provider notifications
- Support qualifying life event changes, new hire enrollment, and annual compliance requirements for the US
- Coordinate with benefits brokers and HRIS on coverage connections and data accuracy
India Accounting & Finance Coordination
- Process and track India vendor invoices and ad-hoc payments
- Execute monthly payments through the India banking portal, including statutory and benefit-related payments
- Coordinate with the external India accounting firm on bi-weekly reviews, bank file preparation, and month-end close
- Prepare the monthly India budget and support quarterly advance tax coordination
- Manage credit card statement reconciliation, bank uploads, and employee reimbursements
Employee Support & HRIS
- Serve as first point of contact for employee inquiries across all regions on payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Review and approve HRIS compensation data entries and high-risk changes
- Compile HR metrics and operational reports as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of HR operations experience with direct payroll and benefits administration responsibility across multiple countries
- Strong working knowledge of India payroll mechanics: TDS, EPF, NPS, Professional Tax, and LWF
- Experience with a global payroll platform (Deel, Papaya Global, Rippling, or equivalent)
- Experience with an HRIS or payroll system for US payroll processing
- Familiarity with India accounting coordination and external CA firm management
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple time zones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Located in Hyderabad or willing torelocatewithin60 daysof starting date
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with UK employment and benefits compliance
- Exposure to USbenefitsannual compliance (ACA, NDT,RxDC)
- Prior experience managing or coordinating with an India-based outsourced accounting provider
Role Details
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Model: Hybrid
Location: Hyderabad, India (in-office presence required for meetings and key coordination activities). Candidates must be in Hyderabad or willing to relocate within 60 days of starting date
Reporting To: VP, Human Resources
Schedule: Flexibility required to accommodate overlap with US and UK business hours
