What You’ll Do:
The Referral Partnerships Manager builds and grows a network of organizations and people who can introduce new clients to Real Geeks and generate partner-sourced sales and revenue, including affiliates, influencers, coaches, brokerages, associations, vendors, and other organizations that serve residential real estate professionals. Our partnerships can take different forms. Some may receive a referral fee for introducing new clients. Others may offer their members or clients preferred pricing. Some relationships may involve co-marketing, sponsorships, or other mutually beneficial arrangements. In other cases, the value to the partner is simply having a trusted solution they can confidently recommend.
You’ll also represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events, developing relationships with prospective partners and clients and generating opportunities for our Sales team. Ultimately, your job is to build a repeatable, scalable referral ecosystem that generates qualified opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
Build & Grow Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-potential referral and strategic partners across the residential real estate ecosystem.
- Build a healthy pipeline of partnership opportunities and prioritize them based on commercial impact and audience fit.
- Create mutually beneficial partnership structures, including referrals, preferred pricing, co-marketing, sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, and other creative programs.
- Negotiate terms, launch new partnerships, and serve as the primary relationship owner after activation.
- Grow productive partnerships over time, re-engage inactive partners, and expand relationships with the greatest potential.
Generate Partner-Sourced Growth
- Develop programs and campaigns that generate qualified introductions, leads, opportunities, customers, and revenue.
- Equip partners with the messaging, materials, and support they need to confidently recommend Real Geeks.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to ensure partner-generated leads are captured, attributed, followed up with, and converted.
- Track partnership performance, test new approaches, and focus resources on the relationships and programs producing the strongest return.
Build Brand Presence in the Industry
- Represent Real Geeks at conferences, trade shows, partner events, webinars, podcasts, networking events, and other industry opportunities.
- Build relationships with influential people, organizations, community leaders, and event organizers.
- Identify sponsorships, speaking opportunities, panels, educational programs, content collaborations, and other ways to increase brand visibility.
- Evaluate events and activations based on audience fit, partnership potential, lead generation, brand impact, and expected ROI.
- Follow up after events to turn new contacts into partner relationships, qualified opportunities, and sales conversations.
Collaborate Across the Business
- Partner closely with Sales, Training & Enablement, Marketing, Client Services, and leadership on opportunities that support company growth.
- Provide warm introductions and useful context when partner relationships create new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate on co-marketing campaigns, webinars, promotions, events, partner content, and other strategic initiatives.
- Share market and partner insights that help Real Geeks stay connected to the trends, conversations, and organizations shaping residential real estate.
How Success Will Be Measured
- Success is measured by business impact—not simply the number of partnerships signed, sponsorships purchased, or events attended. Key outcomes include:
- A growing network of active, productive strategic and referral partners.
- Consistent partner-sourced leads, qualified opportunities, customers, pipeline, and revenue.
- Growth in referrals and contribution from existing partners.
- Measurable pipeline, revenue, and brand impact from events and industry relationships.
- Improved visibility and credibility for Real Geeks across the residential real estate industry.
- Clear understanding of which partnership, sponsorship, and event investments generate the strongest ROI.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in partnerships, business development, channel sales, affiliate management, account management, brand development, or a similar relationship-driven growth role.
- A strong relationship builder who is comfortable with proactive outreach, networking, and creating opportunities from scratch.
- Commercial judgment and the ability to structure win-win partnerships that lead to measurable business results.
- Ability to manage a relationship from first conversation through negotiation, launch, activation, and ongoing growth.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, including representing a company publicly at events and industry forums.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage many relationships and opportunities at once.
- Comfort using data to evaluate performance, prioritize investments, and improve results.
- Willingness and ability to travel to key industry events and partner meetings.
- Highly valuable experience: residential real estate, real estate technology, SaaS, affiliate or channel partnerships, or the real estate coaching/training ecosystem.
