The Registered Nurse provides quality, patient-focused care within the Critical Care Unit while adhering to regulatory and legislative standards. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, managing emergency situations, and providing health teaching to patients and families.
Candidates must have current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a Level 3 Critical Care certificate. A minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute medical/surgical unit is required, along with ACLS and BCLS certifications.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a regulated health care professional who is accountable and responsible for providing quality patient focused nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit. As part of the inter-professional health care team, the RN will practice according to the nursing practice expectations set by Osler, the regulatory practice standards of the College of Nurses and the legislative requirements set by the Regulated Health Professions Act.
Accountabilities:
Hours: Currently Days/Nights 12 hours shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
SALARY:
Minimum: $41.15 per hour
Maximum: $58.98 per hour
