Candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field and have proven experience as an IoT Engineer. Proficiency in GoLang, Git version control, and cloud services within an Agile environment is required.
We are seeking an experienced IoT Engineer to join our team at Wabtec UK where we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.
Role: IoT Engineer/Developer/Full Stack
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Remote, with the requirement to travel to site based in Derby, DE24 8HR
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
As an IoT Engineer at Wabtec, you will make a direct impact by enabling secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity between transit hardware and cloud platforms—turning complex sensor and device data into actionable intelligence. Your work will strengthen Wabtec’s IoT and Smart Data product line by improving system reliability, cyber security, and data-driven insights across transit operations
