The staff nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care under physician supervision. Key duties include medication administration, patient assessment, and managing medical orders and inventory.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved LVN program and hold a valid Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the State of Texas. Experience in behavioral health care settings and proficiency in MS Office are preferred.

WTCR is one of the longest-serving medication assisted treatment networks in Texas, offering methadone and buprenorphine treatment and counseling for individuals suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of our patients so that they may disrupt the cycle of OUD and have their best chance for a long-term meaningful recovery. The staff nurse performs assigned nursing duties, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, under the direct supervision of a WTCR physician. These duties include providing required information about the clinical situation of patients, medication administration and patient assessment, inventory management, and medical order management.

We are a network of three separate substance-abuse treatment providers who provide one another with assistance to foster the highest level of care for our patients. We provide medication-assisted treatment (through the use of methadone and suboxone) in an outpatient setting to those addicted to opiates. We believe that with the help of individual and group counseling, physician oversight, and opiate agonist medications, addicted persons can regain dignity and overcome the destructive behaviors associated with active addiction. We have three separate locations. Our goal in founding each location was to provide medication-assisted treatment in a location that upgraded the image of Opioid Treatment Programs at the time. Our locations are as follows: Southwest Carolina Treatment Center, LLC. – Anderson, SC Western Carolina Treatment Center, Inc. – Asheville, NC Center of HOPE of Myrtle Beach, LLC. – Myrtle Beach, SC If you or a loved one is struggling with opiate addiction, we would love the opportunity to speak with you more about how our services can help addicts regain control over their lives and stop using illicit narcotics.
