The Shunter is responsible for performing duties as the Person in Charge of Sidings and ensuring all traction movements are conducted safely. They also manage the arrival and departure of vehicles, including coupling and uncoupling, while assisting with depot maintenance tasks.
Candidates must have successfully completed required competencies for shunting and related operational tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential.
