The cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods according to planned menus and safety standards. They must maintain kitchen cleanliness, manage inventory, and collaborate with the dining team to ensure a quality resident experience.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with an active ServeSafe/Food Safety Managers Certification and at least 2 years of institutional cooking experience in long-term care or assisted living. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test and background check.
