The Senior Data Scientist will develop and execute data science strategies to optimize mining operations and equipment performance. They will oversee end-to-end data projects, from analyzing complex sensor datasets to deploying predictive maintenance models.
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and possess proven experience in data science, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sectors. Proficiency in Python or R, machine learning frameworks, and big data technologies is required, along with eligibility to work in Australia or Canada.
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will analyze and interpret complex data sets gathered from our software interfacing with mining equipment, machine guidance systems, and fleet management software. Your insights will play a crucial role in optimizing mining operations, improving equipment performance, and enhancing fleet management strategies.
