The Sr. Medical Economics Analyst is responsible for analyzing healthcare cost, utilization, quality, and performance data to generate accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support operational and financial decision making. The scope of this job includes partnering closely with cross functional teams to develop reports, dashboards, and analyses that inform strategic initiatives and performance improvement efforts, while ensuring data integrity and compliance standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead advanced data analysis initiatives, filtering and validating large, complex datasets to identify performance trends, risks, and strategic opportunities across claims and healthcare data.
Oversee the development of well documented reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and presentations that translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
Perform and guide data extraction and validation using SQL, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of analytic outputs.
Drive contract reconciliation activities and ongoing financial and operational performance monitoring, including management of KPIs and quality improvement indicators.
Use data driven insights to optimize outcomes, inform strategic decision making, and support organizational success.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
At least 8-12 years of relevant work experience
Job Expectations:
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
Preferred Expectations:
