Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral or social science field and a valid license such as LMSW, LCSW, or LPC. Candidates must maintain CPR certification and possess experience in mental health counseling and crisis intervention.

The Mental Health Professional provides clinical services under the direction of the MH Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor or MH Director to youth involved in the criminal justice system. This role provides mental health consultation and training to facility staff.
