The mechanic will diagnose and repair diesel and gas trucks, as well as electrical and hydraulic systems. They are also responsible for performing preventative maintenance, DOT compliance checks, and occasional welding or fabrication tasks.
Candidates must have previous fleet mechanic experience, preferably with diesel engines, and possess strong troubleshooting skills. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required, and a CDL is preferred.
