The Care Coordinator manages timely healthcare services and patient outreach to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as scheduling, pharmacy calls, and managing electronic health records in a virtual environment.
Candidates must have a Medical Assistant certification and 2-3 years of healthcare customer service experience with hybrid practice models. Proficiency in CoverMyMeds and EMR systems is required, along with the ability to work specific shifts across Pacific or Eastern time zones.

The Care Coordinator, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary provider team, is responsible for the timely coordination of health care services to meet every patient's individual needs and promote high quality visit experiences and cost effective clinical outcomes.
Medical Assistant Certification is required.
This is a full-time benefited position with a 90 day probation period.

As part of your role, you may come into contact with sensitive patient information governed by HIPAA. Visana will provide security and privacy training.
