The Account Manager is responsible for expanding and maintaining a dealer network of specialized retailers in North Rhine-Westphalia. This involves a 50/50 split between nurturing existing relationships and acquiring new business through product demonstrations and technical training.
Candidates need a vocational education in the green sector or technology and practical experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or retail. A category BE driver's license and proficiency in German are required.
Are you a commercial talent with a passion for the Lawn & Garden sector? At De Wild, you'll get the opportunity to further expand our dealer network of specialized retailers in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Your mission? To turn our top brands—GTM Professional, Silky, and Okatsune—into the absolute market leaders in your region. You will do this not just by selling, but by truly showing what our tools can do during demonstrations, trade shows, and technical training days.
You enjoy a healthy balance between focus at the office and freedom on the road:
Monday: You start the week in your (home) office. You take care of administration, schedule your appointments for the coming week, and prepare quotes.
Tuesday through Friday: You are the face of De Wild. You are on the road, visiting clients and prospects. You feel right at home on the shop floor of specialized dealers and speak the industry's language.
Once per quarter: You meet with management, sales, marketing, and engineering to discuss market strategy, as well as all innovations and product developments. Of course, you are also more than welcome at the office in Roosendaal in between.
As an Account Manager at De Wild, you will take full responsibility for your own territory. You will find the ideal balance (50/50) between nurturing existing relationships and generating new business.
Relationship Management & Acquisition: You maintain intensive contact with our dealers in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Product Experience: You provide tailored advice and deliver convincing product demonstrations.
Collaboration: You communicate quickly with colleagues from the Benelux sales team and Marketing to increase our visibility.
Expertise: You stay up to date on market trends and translate customer needs into suitable solutions.
We are looking for a colleague who speaks from passion and experience within the green sector. You recognize yourself in the following profile:
Green DNA: You have completed a vocational education (MBO level 3/4) in the green sector or technology (e.g., landscaping or arboriculture).
Experience: You have logged hours in the green sector. Do you also have experience in a shop or with a specialized retailer? That gives you an extra edge!
Sales Talent: You get energy from bringing in new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
Borderless & Flexible: You have a good command of the German language and don't mind staying in a hotel occasionally for your work in Germany or at (international) trade shows.
Practical Mindset: You hold a category BE driver's license (car with trailer) and have technical insight.
