We are currently seeking a caring and reliable Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist elderly patients with daily living activities and companionship in and around the home. What Makes This Opportunity Unique?

Unlike facility-based caregiving roles, this position allows caregivers to provide one-on-one attention in a home setting. This creates the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and provide truly personalized care.

Because every patient has different needs, caregivers enjoy variety in their daily responsibilities and the chance to make a direct impact each shift. Some days may focus more on companionship and meal preparation, while others may involve mobility assistance, household support, or helping patients safely attend appointments and activities.

Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Duties

We are looking for a caregiver to provide care from Sunday morning through Tuesday morning! 48 hours per week in two days!

Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide (HHA) may vary based on patient needs and care plans, but can include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Bathing and shower assistance
  • Toileting and hygiene care
  • Oral care and basic nail care
  • Meal assistance and feeding support
  • Mobility assistance and ambulation
  • Transfers and positioning assistance
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition/hydration
• Performing light housekeeping duties such as:
  • Laundry
  • Dishwashing
  • Tidying and organizing living spaces
• Assisting with errands and transportation to appointments or outings
• Supporting patients with hobbies, routines, or household projects
• Monitoring patient condition and reporting concerns or changes to nursing staff
• Maintaining accurate daily documentation and end-of-shift reports
• Following individualized care plans and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, or HHA experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to complete written documentation with legible handwriting
• Must follow verbal and written instructions carefully
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
• Must maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for patient privacy
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist patients throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift or transfer patients when necessary
  • Ability to safely push wheelchairs or assistive devices
  • Ability to perform household tasks and remain active during shifts
  • Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Must pass a background check
