The LPN provides direct, age-specific patient care and administers medications according to medical orders and multidisciplinary plans. They also assist the healthcare team with illness prevention, patient education, and unit-level leadership responsibilities.
Candidates must be graduates of a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing and hold a current LPN license in Virginia. Additionally, an AHA BLS certification or equivalent is required for continued employment.
