Our finance team’s mission is to provide foundational operational excellence, ensuring accurate financial data and smooth daily operations to support VanMoof's global growth. In this role, you will handle daily transactional accounting, manage expenses, and collaborate with both local and international team members. You will be reporting to the Accounting Manager in Taipei, working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional environment.

What you’ll do
- Daily Accounting & Booking: Perform basic daily accounting tasks, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate and timely financial data entry into our ERP system.
- Expense & Reimbursement Management: Review, verify, and process employee travel expense claims and daily expense reimbursement requests in accordance with company policies.
- Petty Cash Management: Oversee, disburse, and reconcile the office petty cash fund, ensuring proper documentation and tracking for all cash transactions.
- Cross-Border Communication: Handle daily financial workflows using English-based software/systems and coordinate with global colleagues via email regarding billing or expense inquiries.
- Documentation & Support: Assist with filing financial vouchers, supporting month-end closing procedures, and preparing documentation for annual audits.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of working experience in accounting or finance. Fresh graduates are highly welcome to apply!
- Good proficiency in Mandarin and basic working proficiency in English, including the ability to navigate English-language systems and handle billing, expenses, or general finance inquiries with overseas colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of Taiwan tax regulations, including VAT (營業稅) filing procedures and withholding tax (扣繳) requirements.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Google Workplace (especially Google Sheets). Experience or familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- You currently live in Taiwan.
