The Bundler is responsible for removing, inspecting, and labeling cut fabric parts from a Gerber cutting machine. They ensure all pieces are cut straight with the grain and properly bundled for subsequent production processes.
Requirements
Candidates must be knowledgeable in cutting methods and able to read English job tickets. Physical ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Position Summary: Removes cut fabric parts from Gerber cutting machine and prepare for the next process.
Stand behind the machine and retrieve the fabric parts as they come off
Observe the monitor to determine what pieces are coming off of the machine
Mark and label pieces on the back of the fabric as they come off of the machine
Responsible for inspecting fabric to ensure there are no flaws in the fabric and that it is cut straight with the grain of the fabric
If it is a match fabric all pieces that sew must flow match
If there are 2 of any style, they must be cut alike before going to the next process (example) Chairs/ Ottomans/ Sofas/ Loveseats
All denims must be with each job including waterfall denims
Mount fabric on table and spread specified amount of fabric out on cutting table and cut with scissors.
Removes cut plies from table, marks part identification on plies, and bags / labels cut material for subsequent production use.
Verify all parts are in cover before bundling.
Verify options, fabric, and other information on ticket.
Maintain neat and orderly work station.
Wears required metal cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must be knowledgeable in cutting methods and be able to complete job to quality specifications.
English required for reading tickets and job notes.
Physical demands and work environment:
Lift/Carry: Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.; occasional lifting in excess of 50 lbs. requiring team
lift. Must be able to move fabric onto and off of cutting machine. Occasional overhead
lifting needed.
Push/Pull: Frequent push/pull motion associated with fabric rolls and positioning of fabric
for cutting.
Standing: Must be able to stand 8+ hours.
Bend / Stoop / Crouch: Occasional adjustment of torso to remove / place fabric.
