The Maintenance Development Engineer is responsible for creating and managing executable maintenance plans and standard procedures to ensure asset performance at Heathrow Airport. This includes analyzing system data to optimize reliability and leading continuous improvement projects to reduce recurring issues.
Candidates must hold an HNC/HND or higher in an engineering discipline and possess a strong background in industrial automation and CMMS tools like IBM Maximo. Proficiency in reliability methodologies such as RCM and FMECA is expected to improve MTBF and MTTR performance.

Working within London Heathrow Airport, the Maintenance Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance plans and asset performance across the operation.
You will translate maintenance concepts into practical, executable plans and standard procedures, analyse system performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You will be performing the following tasks:
