The Traffic Control Person is responsible for directing traffic and pedestrians at construction sites to ensure safety and efficient flow. They will also set up traffic control signs, cones, and barriers while maintaining a safe working environment.
Candidates must have previous traffic control experience, a Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract, and be physically fit for outdoor work. Additionally, CSTS training and Alberta Temporary Traffic Control training are required or preferred.
Our Distribution group is currently looking to add a Traffic Control / Flag Person to our team, based in Sherwood Park, AB.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Traffic Control, we are seeking someone with previous traffic control experience. This position will be responsible for flagging two-way traffic, installing construction signage, barricades, barrels, delineators, and assisting with preparation for on-road construction activity while maintaining a safe working environment.
Please note: this position will work Monday to Friday, 30 – 40 hrs / week with occasional weekends and out of town work.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreferred Skills / Qualifications
This position offers an hourly rate of $22 – $26, depending on experience and qualifications.
