The Spiritual Care Coordinator provides direct spiritual care to patients and families, coordinates aspects of patient care, and documents assessments and interventions. They also assist in community engagement and bereavement activities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited seminary or school of theology and have knowledge of the emotional effects of death, grief, and loss. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to relate to a diverse population are also required.

As a Spiritual Care Coordinator, you would be able to provide care and comfort to United Hospice's patients and families at a highly vulnerable moment.
We believe that it is a privilege to be able to deliver compassionate care and be present to honor our patients' singular journey at a time of great need. At United Hospice, it is all about caring for the patient and their family.
The position includes visiting patients primarily in Rockland County, our Joe Raso Hospice Residence and on occasion Orange County. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with a shared weekend rotation as needed.
