Provide high-quality intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging for urologic procedures while ensuring patient safety and sterile field adherence. Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to oversee the facility's radiation safety program and ensure regulatory compliance with NJDEP and federal standards.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT (R) certification and an active New Jersey license. Requires demonstrated experience with C-arm fluoroscopy in surgical settings and BLS certification.
About the Role
The Radiology Technologist provides high-quality intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging in a urology-focused ambulatory surgery center. This role supports surgeons during minimally invasive urologic procedures using C-arm fluoroscopy and ensures optimal imaging while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.
In addition, this position serves as the facility’s Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the radiation safety program in compliance with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Bureau of X-Ray Compliance, federal regulations, and accrediting body standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
What We Expect from You
Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License.
Demonstrated experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy in surgical settings.
Knowledge of radiation physics, fluoroscopy, and radiation protection.
Ability to work effectively in a sterile operating room environment.
Computer skills including email, Microsoft applications, and the ability to comprehend and utilize Electronic Medical Record System, RIS, and PACS Systems.
BLS certification.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

Salary Range:

The compensation range listed reflects the anticipated base pay for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, and work location.
