The Yard Jockey is responsible for moving trailers to support warehouse sorting and processing for shipment or storage. This includes maintaining an organized yard, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and ensuring timely trailer positioning.
Candidates must have required experience in trailer spotting and relocation using a yard truck. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in an environment with mechanical parts and noise is necessary.
The Yard Jockey supports the movement of trailers to support the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage. Yard Jockey is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning.
