The technician is responsible for the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment to ensure it remains safe and accurate for patient care. They also provide guidance to clinicians on equipment usage and maintain accurate documentation and inventory control.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment. An associate degree in an electronics or technical field is required, along with strong technical skills in diagnostics and hardware repair.
