Trico Homes is currently looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) with strong sales performance, customer experience, and relationship-building capabilities. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales success, enhancing the customer journey, and supporting community growth within a designated Trico Homes community. The ASM will serve as the face of the community, working closely with customers, realtors, and industry partners to guide purchasers through the home-buying process in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This position will support Trico Homes’ Multi-Family division, including the successful launch and ongoing performance of new communities such as Verona North. The successful candidate is a motivated sales professional, collaborative team member, and natural leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving strong sales results. Experience in selling multi-family homes, including townhomes and condominiums, is considered a strong asset.
Job Duties:
- Guide customers through the complete sales journey from initial inquiry through possession.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Create, manage, and maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, appointments, and next actions within HubSpot.
- Actively manage and convert sales leads while maintaining strong pipeline health and CRM accuracy.
- Develop and execute community-specific sales and traffic generation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, industry partners, and referral sources.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, social media activities, events, and customer engagement programs.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and product feedback to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with Construction, Drafting, Design, Marketing, Customer Care, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Select and create spec home opportunities based on market demand, sales trends, and inventory strategies.
- Maintain detailed homeowner files and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure show homes, sales centres, signage, and community presentation standards are maintained.
- Adhere to Trico Homes' customer satisfaction and Touch Point programs.
- Coach, mentor, and support Sales Associates while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Stay current on product knowledge, construction processes, blueprint interpretation, and industry trends.
Requirements and Competencies
- Minimum 3–5 years of successful new home sales experience.
- Multi-family sales experience is considered a strong asset.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the new home construction process.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
- Experience using CRM systems; HubSpot experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of emotional intelligence and customer service orientation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business software.
