Wisconsin Oven Corporation has been designing, engineering, and manufacturing industrial ovens and other heating equipment since 1973. Our custom and standard industrial ovens are used for a multitude of applications including heat treating, finishing, drying, or curing. Wisconsin Oven customers cover a wide range of industries including aerospace/military, automotive, commercial heat treating, and energy/oil to name a few.
Under the direction of the Utility and QA Manager, the Industrial Painter prepares and paints industrial ovens, consistent with company quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
- Clean, prepare, and condition surfaces of industrial ovens for painting.
- Apply necessary protective covering to protect unpainted surfaces and surrounding areas.
- Select and mix coating liquid to produce desired color and result, according to specifications.
- Use appropriate painting techniques to complete painting of industrial ovens.
- Paint industrial ovens and related parts and equipment.
- Disassemble, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
- Prepare required reports.
- Complete special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
● High School Degree or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience
● Lean Manufacturing experience
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications and blueprints. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the Company.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to read tape measures, and do basic math, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems.
Other Skills/Abilities: Motivated and highly organized and a Team player with a positive attitude
