Responsible for the inspection, repair, machining, and overhaul of aircraft engine cylinders according to manufacturer and FAA standards. This includes operating CNC and manual tools to restore components and maintaining detailed repair documentation.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred technical certifications in aircraft or marine mechanics. Candidates must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow written process standards.

REPORTS TO: Site Lead

Tiffin Aire is looking for the inspection, repair, machining, and overhaul of aircraft engine cylinders in accordance with manufacturer specifications, FAA regulations, and company quality standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in composite materials or aircraft/marine mechanics preferred.
1) Mechanical Aptitude – demonstrated examples (on the job or outside of work) showing competency to work with hands. Might include items such as body work skills, crate repair, general wrenching ability, construction work, etc.
2) Manual Dexterity – Ability to perform a job that requires detailed handwork.
3) Experience with Process Standards – Demonstrated ability to read, understand and execute to written instruction.
4) Computer Skills – experience with entering and retrieving data from a computer.
