Job Description: The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This role provides administrative support, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and assisting the HR Manager with recruiting candidates.
Position Responsibilities
Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates in HRIS
Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons.
Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires.
Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed
Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface
Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential.
Completes e-verify and maintains existing I-9 files.
.Coordinate training and Learning Management courses.
Work with supervisors to ensure required training renewals are completed before expiration.
Support any other special projects the HR manager needs assistance with
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
Other duties as required
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience in HR work
High school diploma or GED equivalent required, some college prefered
Background check required
Compensation
$19-$22hr
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
