Responsibilities

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional care of residents and patients within the center. They advise the clinical and dietary teams on nutritional status, therapeutic diets, and food/drug interactions to ensure optimal patient health.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Registered Dietitian License and have 3-5 years of experience in acute or long-term care environments. Proficiency in skilled nursing regulations and knowledge of the aging process are required.

Are you ready to contribute to a team committed to excellent customer service and dedicated to each individual’s unique talent?

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have:

  • Registered Dietitian License.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
