The Assistant Editor is responsible for organizing production media, transcoding footage, and conforming edits for final grading and mixing. They also edit ancillary content such as shorts and sizzles for various partner platforms.
Candidates must be proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects with a strong understanding of video formats and codecs. High organizational skills and a solutions-based approach to technical and creative problems are required.

About the Role
The Creative Studio Assistant Editor is a full-time position responsible for assisting in the post production of the Creative Studio's sponsored content. This role centers around organizing production media, preparing it for editing, conforming edits for finishing, as well as exporting final deliverables. Assistant Editors also have opportunities for editing shorts, sizzles, and other ancillary content to be released on Big Think, as well as partner platforms across the web. This is a role for someone who is passionate about workflow and organization, with experience in editing short-form social videos.
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to do your best work from wherever you call home.
