The Assistant VDC Manager will lead project teams in executing Virtual Building programs and leveraging BIM technologies for the Federal portfolio. Responsibilities include developing BIM execution plans, resolving design conflicts through virtual models, and managing site logistics and safety simulations.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in BIM management or relevant AEC industry roles, with a preference for Federal construction project experience. A bachelor's degree in a related field or an associate degree in a VDC/BIM technical concentration is required.
Whiting-Turner is looking for a self-motivated, collaborative, and confident individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience leading multi-discipline BIM coordination efforts for either a Subcontractor or General Contractor. Work experience in the Federal sector is strongly preferred. The individual will be expected to manage the Virtual Building process for multiple projects.
