Your next career opportunity In this Academic Programs Officer role, you will coordinate key teaching and student administration activities across psychology coursework and graduate research programs. You will work closely with academic and professional staff to ensure high-quality, efficient processes that support students’ learning, assessment, and progression, while deepening your expertise in university administration within a leading School.
What you will deliver:
Coordinate subject and program administration, including subject set-up, curriculum-related queries, course related event support , and support to teaching staff.
Manage examinations, special consideration, results processing and Board of Examiners documentation, ensuring integrity, confidentiality and policy compliance.
Provide responsive support for students and staff, triaging complex enquiries and supporting admissions, enrolments and selection processes.
Administer research experience and graduate research activities, maintaining accurate records and reporting using StudentOne and related systems.
Administer and assist student administration activities including coursework administration and clinical placement support.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, marketing and student events, and actively support School committees and initiatives.

Hold an undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, or bring equivalent education and experience.
Demonstrate experience in student or academic administration, ideally within a tertiary or similar complex environment.
Use StudentOne or comparable student management systems confidently, alongside strong skills in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, understanding and following processes while taking responsibility for outcomes.
Learn quickly, interpret policies and procedures, and apply them consistently to support fair, high-quality student experiences.
