Front Desk Receptionist needed for high volume orthopedic clinic in North Oklahoma City
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
Greet patients
Answer calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
Checking patients in/out
Enter all patient data quickly and efficiently
Verify demographics and insurance during check-in
Will ensure all intake information is provided
Collect co-pays/balances during the visit
Scheduling follow up appointments
Chart preparation, scanning/indexing medical records and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Only resumes with a minimum one year medical office experience will be considered
Strong communication skills
Strong work ethic and dependability is required
Position is very fast-paced and requires attention to detail and multi-tasking
Knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) preferred but not required
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
