The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations and manage ocular conditions for residents in nursing home and long-term care settings. They are responsible for prescribing corrective lenses and maintaining accurate electronic medical records while collaborating with healthcare staff.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and possess a current state optometry license in good standing. Experience working with geriatric populations and familiarity with electronic medical records systems are preferred.
