Established in March 2012, The Dirty Buffalo brings the taste of Western New York to Hampton Roads! Skills:

• You’re outgoing and friendly and love talking to people. You’re a true entertainer.
• You’re a customer service rockstar and a great salesperson.
• You have knowledge of local craft beer offerings and alcoholic drink profiles.
• You can handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.  
• You prefer working on a team, helping out your peers, and jumping in where you are needed - even if it’s taking out the trash or mopping floors.
• You take your job seriously and don’t call out or show up late unless it’s a true emergency
• You like to hustle, always keep moving and would prefer to stay busy.
• You’re excited to learn something new and be part of something good. 

Responsibilities:

• You go above and beyond, every day, every shift, to make the guest happy 
• You know our menu inside and out, can recommend favorite dishes, and stay up to date on specials or newly available options
• You use basic bar tools like jiggers, shakers, and store and pours, and can prepare syrups and garnishes
• You follow our no shots policy
• You differentiate well, call and premium liquors and can describe flavor profiles for our drinks
• You always know our current beer offerings and can make recommendations
• You show up on time, in uniform, with a smile every day
• You take and receive direction like a pro and when you don’t understand something you ask lots of questions. 
• When you see something that isn’t right, or receive a complaint from a guest, you go out of your way to make it right.

You must be willing and able to:

• Stand up and move for most - if not all - of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work weekends and holidays
• Get to work in inclement weather (we are from Buffalo, we don’t close for snow)
• Understand and communicate in the predominant language of our guests.
