The role:

• Support the academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of students as the primary point of contact 
• Plan and deliver engaging Chinese language programs that promote student agency and personalised learning 
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents 
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialist teachers and support staff to enhance teaching and learning outcomes 
• Participate in supervision duties, co-curricular activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities

What do I need to succeed?

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum content, current curriculum approaches and effective teaching practices 
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of students 
• Strong capability in engaging students and monitoring learning using a range of assessment strategies 
• Commitment to supporting student wellbeing and fostering positive relationships 
• Alignment with the School’s vision, values and Christian ethos, with active engagement in professional learning

A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
