Regional Sales Representative
Southeast (Primarily North & South Carolina)

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth within the Southeast, specifically North and South Carolina. This role serves as an outside sales position, ensuring exceptional customer service while promoting the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the Southeast.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Develop territory plans and strategies to achieve sales goals and market growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs.
  
  

Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
  
  

Territory Management

• Schedule and conduct regular in-person visits with customers, prospects, and industry partners.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within CRM software.
• Manage sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting updates.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as needed.
  
  

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and submit weekly activity reports, sales forecasts, and expense reports.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, services, pricing, and industry developments.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory.

Preferred

• Experience in flooring, construction, building materials, interior finishes, or related industries.
• Established network of industry contacts within the assigned market.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
