Organizes the activities of the nursing unit by performing clerical, receptionist and support duties and maintaining the physical environment of the unit. They assure adequate supplies and equipment to provide care to the patients on the unit, assuring efficient bed turnover, coordinating transportation needs for inter-hospital transports, filing documents into and maintaining an orderly and comprehensive medical record for every patient.
