Responsibilities
Implement and enforce Quality Management Systems across projects to ensure zero tolerance for defective materials and workmanship. Drive Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and conduct regular site and factory inspections to maintain strict compliance with quality standards.

Requires a four-year college degree and extensive experience in quality management within the construction sector. Must be proficient in conducting technical inspections, managing vendors, and implementing corrective measures to eliminate non-conformities.

Strategic :
· Implement Quality Management Systems for the project/region in line with overall QMS of the organization
· Enforce the organization’s policy of “Zero” tolerance to defective material & workmanship by ensuring Inspection of all incoming materials (through factory & site inspections) & training of all personnel across the value chainBenchmarking with competitors for best quality construction practices.
Providing quality parameters related feedback for Bi-annual contractor performance evaluation. Specially for the projects where quality engineer on project is not available.
Organizing and conducting various Quality awareness initiatives amongst project staff and workers to promote quality culture across company & projects.
Conduct Quality Induction for new joined staff at organization.
Operational :
Ensure compliance to quality standards, method statements, and activity sequences
Provide advice on alternate materials, recommending of construction methodologies to suit the given materials
Ensure that only approved materials are used on site & that every material being used is “fit for purpose’ by conducting regular factory inspections, inspection of all incoming materials on site
Implement systems & procedures to control in process quality by stage wise inspection of activities through check lists & ITP’s
Intervene at the site level in areas of major nonconformance and ensure reporting of the same
Interact with various Vendors, for proper work process, work procedures, and quotes
Investigate products/samples through tests done by NABL accredited Labs and provide recommendations
Interact with various project quality engineers, take weekly updates on the works performed and quality issues if any
Prepare Quality standards data sheets pertaining to various materials, processes, tests highlighting merits & demerits
Support Quality Lead, Quality Head and all other associated teams with proper information and workings as required by them
Undertake corrective measures to reduce & eventually eliminate the non-conformity with a detailed root-cause analysis to prevent the repetition of NC’s
Drive RCFA and propose recommendations in collaboration with the assurance team to reduce quality issues in the region
Ensure closing of all NC’s raised by auditors, maintaining trends related to quality data, Benchmarking with competitors, recording improvements
Ensure implementation of new technologies at sites
Ensure effective training of manpower and make recommendations on region specific training
Developmental :
· Training of all manpower related to critical activities and ensuring that all workmanship on site meets acceptable standards in line with codal provisions & internationally accepted best practices
· Sharing of best practices & learnings through circulation of case studies on root cause analysis of repeated non- conformances & implementation of learnings on project sites for continual improvement.
