The Registration Officer assists with the operations of the Teachers Registration Board by processing registration applications and performing administrative functions. They also provide high-quality support to stakeholders and manage reception and help desk duties.
Applicants must be existing fixed-term or permanent employees within the Tasmanian State Service. A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with an employment status is required.

About the Role
The Teachers Registration Board (TRB) regulates the teaching profession in Tasmania and promotes, maintains and applies the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
The TRB’s main function is to register teachers for work in Tasmanian schools. Registration allows the registrant to be legally employed to teach in Tasmanian government, Catholic or independent schools or colleges, or in TasTAFE.
Assist with the operations of the office of the Teachers Registration Board including the processing of all applications for registration and associated administrative functions. Provide high quality, timely assistance and support to stakeholders and undertake reception and help desk duties as required to support registration processes that build a quality teaching profession in Tasmania.
