The Research Scientist will support the design, implementation, and dissemination of observational and mixed-methods research studies using real-world data. Responsibilities include developing study protocols, managing data collection, performing analysis, and drafting scientific deliverables for stakeholders.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher in a relevant health or social science field and possess at least two years of research experience. Proficiency in study design, data analysis, and knowledge of human subjects research regulations is required.
About the role
This is a temporary contract position that provides research support to the Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Research team as project needs arise. The Research team conducts observational, qualitative, and mixed-methods research to improve outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D), leveraging real-world data (RWD) from the T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative and the T1D Exchange Registry. There is an upcoming short-term need (Oct 2026 – Jan 2026), and other needs may arise in the future.
The Research Associate will work closely with the Outcomes Research and Registry teams, sponsors, investigators, and other internal stakeholders to support the design, implementation, and dissemination of research studies. This role contributes across multiple phases of the research lifecycle, from study planning and protocol development through data collection, analysis support, and scientific dissemination.
