The Director of Education develops and executes the enterprise learning strategy, overseeing the education team to design scalable training programs across all service lines. This role involves frequent travel to customer sites to identify performance opportunities and ensure training aligns with operational best practices.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least five years of experience in clinical education or organizational learning. Professional certifications such as CRCST, CHL, or CNOR are required or highly preferred, along with strong leadership and analytical skills.
Position Summary:
The Director of Education is responsible for developing and executing Surgical Solutions' enterprise learning and development strategy. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this leader oversees the Education team and partners closely with Operations, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to design scalable training programs that build workforce capability across all service lines.
This role combines strategic program development with hands-on operational engagement, regularly traveling to customer sites to understand workflows, identify performance opportunities, and ensure training reflects operational best practices. The Director of Education leads new hire onboarding, ongoing clinical and leadership development, competency programs, and career pathway initiatives while helping Surgical Solutions recruit and develop individuals with little or no prior industry experience into highly skilled healthcare professionals.
