JOB TITLE: RN - PACU (PRN)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.
RECEIVES DIRECTION FROM: Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse.
GIVES DIRECTION TO: LPN, C.N.A
EXPERIENCE:
Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred.
Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred.
Advanced critical thinking skills; self-motivated; adaptable to a fast-paced environment; time management, embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process, preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current state of PA Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications required
